Zajezka 2009
We organize many workshops, seminars and summer
camps in Zajezka. Almost all of them are held in Slovak or Czech language,
so we do not publish them in this part of web page. If you are to
participate anyway look on Slovak version of this page or contact
us.
18th - 27th June 2010
Footprint Camp Every one of us leaves behind a carbon
footprint in our life’s path that impacts our fragile Earth. Using the unique facilities found in the ecovillage of Zajezova, we want to demonstrate practical real-life solutions to this problem suitable for young people.
Participants of this seminar will learn methods of lightening one’s carbon footprint on a range of nine themes:
housing, food, energy, transport, waste, nature protection, things of
everyday use and art. The philosophy of ‘Think Global, Act Local’ will
be presented throughout the seminar with the morning presentations
providing a global perspective on the themes and afternoon workshops
demonstrating practical methods to participate on a local-scale. We will
use various techniques to keep the activities interesting – role-plays, excursions, facilitated discussions and practical activities.
The detailed calendar of the programme is attached in a
separate document.
