Beginnings on Sekier
My third week in Sekier. Everything goes well and I am quickly getting used to my new home - gonna stay here for one year, at least :]
Life in Sekier is passing without paying attention to time. Time does not exist. Just 'dawn, daylight and moonlight'. We are surrounded by endless beauty of nature with it's wonderful forests, birds singing lovely songs, wind playing among the trees..
Few days ago Edwin, Simo, Chris and I went to Gavurki - an old oak tree forest. It was amazing! Big old powerful oak trees and beautiful scenery from the hill on some villages and wilderness around. On our way back we 'hitchhiked' Rasto and his Scotch girlfriend and all together continued exploring the area. It was a really glorious day!
What else to add?.. The usual day starts around 7a.m. with milking our dearest goats Razka, Lumike and Tonia, watering the green house and feeding the chicken. Then, of course, it's time for breakfast. Afterwards we do different kinds of work, for example, yesterday we reorganized the library, so now it is clear where is what. I picked up few books to read, mostly about ecology and nature - some food before falling into the kingdom of dreams.
Now we are only three people here: Hanna, Edwin and me. Taking things easy today. Working and chilling under the sun and blue sky above..
