Prezentation of Zaježka - its development, most important local projects and possibilities for guests.
The former farm building in the part of Zaježová called Polomy has been serving as a base for educational activities since 1991. It is being rented by the local civic associations, as well as NGOs and individuals to host various events – seminars, environmental education for schools, dance workshops and retreats.
In 2008-2014 the building got gradually renovated with the aim to not only create a higher standard of accomodation fascilities, but also to demonstrate various uses of natural building materials and reusable energy sources as well as permaculture design.
The educational centre Zaježová is co-owned by the nation-wide environmental NGO Zivica and the local civic association Community for life in Harmony (PHZ), however nowadays it is being managed entirely by Zivica.
The educational centre’s mission is to create a space for inspiration, sharing of knowledge and personal development. It promotes awareness of environmental and socio-economic topics on both local and global levels.
We encourage people to find their very own way to freedom, responsibility and respect.
The centre is open to everyone, with no regard to age, religion or lifestyle. It offers a colorful range of seminars for the public, retreats for individuals (Dunkeltherapy retreat, meditation retreat), educational programmes for schools, as well as team building activities for companies.
