Pastiereň is a small traditional log cabin which in 1998-1999 was reconstructed by the local civic association PHZ. Within this reconstruction the cabin was moved from its original location in the neigboring village Vígľašská Huta-Kalinka to the Sekier meadow above Zajezova. The work was done the traditional way without using any power tools, keeping the original and traditionally used materials.
The building was reconstructed by volunteers living in Sekier under supervision of the „folk architect“ Peter Brada (aka Bredy). The roof is thatched with hand-scythed and hand-threshed local rye straw.
